Did you ever think that a disease as complicated as cancer can be treated by something as simple as a vitamin?!?!?
A recent study on mice have shown that vitamin C can have a role in the reduction of tumor size.
But how does it do so? Although vitamin C is an antioxidant, meaning that it removes free radicals which lead to cancer, it is also a pro oxidant. And fortunately, its a pro oxidant only towards malignant cells.
A single parenteral doses of vitamin C, in the study, led to free radical formation only in tumor tissue without any signs of free radicals in the blood.
Despite its potential role in chemotherapy, vitamin C cannot be considered curative as a single agent yet. However, using it as an addition to other regimens is a good idea, especially if used against tumors with poor prognosis.

In this part of the tutorial, we will have a look about how to create a project. We will also cover how to add your company’s logo, which is really interesting when it comes to presenting the project. Also we will start adding the activities or events that we have in order to accomplish the whole project.
Creating projects in Primavera 3.0 (P3) is easy. Simply establish the objective and specify a start date.
1.Click Start, Programs, Primavera, and then select Primavera Project Planner.
2.Choose File, New, then type a unique four-character project name
3.Enter the version number, project title, and company name.
4.Specify the planning unit which determines the time unit P3 uses to schedule the project. In our case, it is days. Also we have to choose the Workdays/week, which is “6” in our case since Sundays are off. In addition, we have to specify that the Week starts on Monday. Read more…
In this article, we will introduce WEP and highlight its weaknesses which makes it vulnerable to third-party attacks.
What is WEP ?
The radio channel is a shared medium, thus wireless networks are more susceptible to eavesdropping than wired networks. So something was needed to provide the confidentiality of the data transmitted over the air to be comparable with traditional wired networks. Thus WEP was introduced to secure IEEE 802.11 wireless networks.
It was supposed to offer good security at the following three levels:
Confidentiality: prevention of eavesdropping through the use of encryption
Access control: providing authentication mechanisms and the option of discarding improperly encrypted packets
Data integrity: prevent tampering with transmissions through the use of a data checksum
Unfortunately, the algorithms used in WEP are selected by cryptographic amateurs.
Is WEP Secure?
Serious weaknesses have been identified by cryptanalysts by showing that a WEP connection can be cracked with readily available softwares within minutes.
As we have said earlier, the concept of this ZeXperT weblog is to bring ENTERTAINMENT to KNOWLEDGE. And below is a really funny FLASH Animation which I found on youtube.com:
My Adobe Acrobat Professional was running perfectly, but for an unknown reason, I started experiencing sudden shutdowns after 10 sec of running the Adobe Acrobat Pro program.
The first thing that came to my mind is to try the repair tool in the control panel. I thought this might fix my problem since I had installed lots of programs recently and had to modify some items in my registry.
Unfortunately, the time I waited for the repair tool to finish went in vain since this sudden shutdown problem wasn’t resolved.
So I had to Google this sudden shutdown problem since it was so annoying and you can’t even read any PDF file.
I found a good looking solution on the Adobe Acrobat’s FORUM. They mentioned that deleting the preferences folder located at
c:\Documents and Settings\ [User Name] \ApplicationData Adobe\Acrobat\8.0
will resolve the problem, since the next time you run Acrobat, it will regenerate these preferences.
So I tried also this good looking solutions, but unfortunately it didn’t resolve the problem.
After reading more about this issue, an idea came to my mind.
I tried ending the task of Acrotray.exe and then running it again as an Administrator.
It seemed that this short solution worked since I am still opening Acrobat from the time I tried it.
Hope this will solve your problem too, and let me know if you need any help..
I guess we have lots of things to do in the following weeks
We received lots of requests for posting Primavera Project Planner tutorials. For the people who don’t know what is Primavera about, it is a project management software like MS Project where you can schedule the project activities, manage resources, and costs. It is used in aerospace and defense, architecture, engineering and construction, financial services, high tech and telecom, information technology, manufacturing, power, energy and process, professional services and consulting, public sectors, and lots of industries.
The preliminary outline for the tutorial will be to cover how to open a project, add activities, define costs, resources,… Also we will talk about ‘global change’ which is a very power feature that lets you quickly
and easily make significant changes to your projects and try them out before making them permanent.
Let us hope this tutorial will not take too much time to be posted!
